Warhammer 40,000: Darktide introduces item upgrades in latest patch

Fatshark has revealed an upcoming patch for Warhammer 40,000: Darktide. For seasoned players whose characters have reached peak levels, this update is particularly exciting as it introduces a fresh method for character advancement.

This innovative system is connected directly to weaponry usage. The more battles you fight with a particular weapon, the more enhancements you'll earn. The accompanying video demonstrates that weapons gain considerable power upon full mastery, though this doesn't prevent you from swapping gear to enjoy varied combat styles.

Additionally, a brisk, time-limited mission is incoming, promising a more rapid-paced challenge than the standard Darktide quests. The update also includes an improved mechanism to streamline teaming up with other players, with filters to select companions based on aspects like mission type and difficulty level.

The "Unlocked and Loaded" update is scheduled to land on September 26th.
