As dawn breaks, Capcom unveils a fresh trailer for Monster Hunter Wilds, showcasing the Hunting Horn, a weapon that specializes in support and teamwork through melodic harmony. This unique instrument empowers both its wielder and teammates by offering various buffs influenced by the melodies played.

The Hunting Horn allows players to enhance different team attributes, and it also introduces a new feature called Echo Bubbles. These bubbles can trigger special effects in their vicinity, which can also damage nearby monsters, ultimately enhancing the group’s damage output.

Notably, the weapon features a Focus Strike that has evolved from the Silkbind Skill introduced in Monster Hunter Rise. Instead of delivering a single hit, the Focus Strike now unleashes a series of strikes with each strum. Additionally, a new ability allows the hunter to take a slight step back before executing a powerful, stunning attack.

Monster Hunter Wilds is set to release in 2025 on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. A new trailer will debut on August 20th during Gamescom Opening Night Live, giving attendees a chance to experience it directly at the expo.
