Announced in 2020, "Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes" saw a remarkably successful Kickstarter fundraiser, allowing its creators, including notable members of the original Suikoden development team, to cultivate their dream project. Often hailed as the spiritual successor to Suikoden, the anticipation for its launch has been high.

While the initial schedule slated the game's release for last year, a significant postponement last summer pushed the debut to April 2024. Amidst concerns, fans have eagerly speculated about whether the new timeline would hold firm. The outlook now seems positive.

A recent update from the game's official X account indicated that "Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes" has received age ratings from both ESRB (ages 10 and up) and PEGI (ages 12 and up). Although this doesn’t guarantee an April 23 release, it does bolster the likelihood of the game arriving as planned.
