Baldur's Gate 3 Receives Comprehensive Update with Over 1000 Modifications and Essential Features

The most recent update to Baldur's Gate 3 has been rolled out, and it's quite substantial. Patch 4, packed with over 1000 adjustments and rectifications, overhauls quests and fine-tunes combat while eliminating various roadblocks. It also brings in fresh features such as dismissing dead avatars to Withers' Wardrobe, customization of hirelings' appearances, an all-new colorblind mode, enhanced AI for Scratch, your canine companion, and the intriguing ability to purchase unclothed statues of your character. It's not in the official patch notes, but it appears that FSR 2.2 support has also been incorporated.

Gameplay: Improvements include various fixes like refining Scratch's fetch behavior, ensuring Archfey warlocks now get a choice of cantrip at Level 4, updating the mechanics of Speak with Dead, and fixing the Enemy of Justice condition sometimes applying when it shouldn't. A new Controller option has been added for better usability and a host of other fixes.

Visual Adjustments: Users can now customize hirelings' appearance during recruitment. Also, upon purchasing a statue from Boney, you can now model it to look like you, clothed or otherwise.

Accessibility: The addition of a color-blind mode, available through the settings tab, allows a choice between protanopia, deuteranopia, or tritanopia–enhancing player experiences.

Mission-Specific Changes: With regards to numerous missions, bugs like Saga and Alan getting stuck in the environment have been fixed, and improvements have been made to parts where players could get blocked due to unpredictable orders of performing tasks.
