Allstate® Mobile review
Allstate Mobile is the official mobile app of Allstate Insurance Company. It allows Allstate clients to access their accounts on the go and offers some exclusive features like Drivewise and discount programs.
Features: Expanded Allstate Experience
The mobile app does not only offer the basic features of accessing the account and checking up on the billing information. Allstate Mobile significantly enhances the experience of Allstate clients as it offers lots of useful features. Drivewise, for example, tracks the way you drive and provides special discounts if you are not violating the regulations. There is also an option to set an automatic payment for the insurance bills.
Allstate also offers quick help with the roadside support through their mobile app. The Digital Locker feature allows you to create a record of your belongings to make filing claims easier. Last but not least, the QuickFoto Claim feature allows you to instantly file a claim using the camera of your smartphone to capture the damages.
Design, interface & usability: Quick and Functional
The app’s user interface is designed well. The tons of features provided by Allstate Mobile are carefully fit into a functional UI, allowing you to access the exact features you need quickly. The navigation might not be very obvious at first, but there is always the help center button available in the main section to answer all your questions. Speaking for the sections, they are well-structured and properly categorized: after getting familiar with the app, you will be able to perform any feature almost instantly.
Security: Drivewise Worries
As for security, there were no significant data breaches with the Allstate Mobile app. It is properly protected, and there were no major security incidents recorded. However, some users are worried about their privacy, especially with the Drivewise feature. To track the driver's behavior, the app is plugged into the car and follows the route, speed, and other ride information. The users are worried about their privacy, but the feature wouldn’t work without collecting this data. If you are worried as well, the only option is not to use the Drivewise feature.
